Good to Know

Festival FAQs.

PawLand is Barket's flagship pet-friendly festival — a celebration of everything we love about animals. Bring your pet, discover pet brands, enjoy activities and experiences, meet fellow pet parents, explore adoption opportunities and spend a day surrounded by the animal-loving community.
Everyone! PawLand is designed for pet parents, animal lovers, families, children and anyone who simply loves animals. You do not need to have a pet to attend — come enjoy the festival, meet pets, explore the stalls and experience everything PawLand has to offer.
Absolutely! PawLand is built for pets. Dogs and other eligible companion animals are welcome, provided they are healthy, vaccinated and comfortable in a busy environment.
Pets can enter PawLand without a separate ticket. A valid human entry ticket is required for attendees.
Yes! You can bring multiple pets, as long as you can safely manage them throughout the festival. Please consider your pets' temperament and comfort around crowds, people and other animals before bringing them along.
Yes, cats are welcome! We recommend bringing cats only if they are comfortable travelling and being around a busy environment. Cats should be kept securely in a carrier or on an appropriate harness and leash.
No specific breed restrictions apply. However, all pets must be comfortable around people and other animals and should be safely controlled by their pet parent at all times.
Pets attending PawLand should be up to date on their vaccinations and deworming. Please carry your pet's vaccination records with you, as they may be required for entry or verification.
Yes. Dogs must remain on a leash in common areas throughout the festival. Please use a secure harness or collar and avoid letting your pet roam freely in crowded areas.
We recommend bringing:
  • Your pet's leash, harness or carrier
  • Vaccination and deworming records
  • Poop bags
  • Your pet's favourite treats
  • A familiar toy or comfort item
  • Any medication your pet may need
  • A portable water bowl, if your pet prefers their own

Water points and pet-friendly facilities will also be available around the festival.

Yes. PawLand will have water points and shaded rest areas around the venue so pets can take regular breaks. We recommend keeping an eye on your pet and giving them plenty of downtime during the day.
Not every pet loves a festival — and that's completely okay. If your pet becomes anxious or overwhelmed, take them to a quieter area and give them time to decompress. Our team may also guide you towards designated calmer zones. If your pet is particularly nervous around crowds, you can always attend PawLand without bringing them and enjoy the festival as a pet lover.
For everyone's safety, pets that are visibly unwell, highly distressed or aggressive may not be permitted to participate in the festival or may be asked to move to a designated quiet area. Please prioritise your pet's wellbeing and the safety of other pets and attendees.
Yes. The Barket Cares Hub will have an on-site veterinary team and first-aid support available during the festival for pet-related concerns.
There's plenty to explore! Depending on the edition, PawLand can feature Puppy Yoga, Paint with Puppies, pet talent shows, pet contests, live performances, art experiences, adoption activities, brand experiences, games and more. Activity schedules and participation requirements will be announced closer to the event.
Many PawLand activities are designed for pets and their parents to enjoy together. Some experiences may have separate registration, limited capacity, age restrictions or additional charges. Check the activity details before participating.
Yes. PawLand brings animal welfare into the heart of the festival through its Adoption Zone, where you can meet Indie dogs looking for loving forever homes. If you're considering adoption, our team can help you understand the process and connect you with the appropriate adoption partners.
You can meet adoptable animals and express your interest in adoption at the festival. Adoption is subject to the relevant screening and adoption process — we want every pet to find the right forever home rather than making an impulse decision at the festival.
Yes! There will be food and beverage options available at the festival, including options for pet parents and pet-friendly treats for your furry companions.
Absolutely. PawLand brings together a range of pet-focused brands, with stalls covering categories such as pet food, treats, accessories, grooming, lifestyle and more. It's a great opportunity to discover new products and festival-exclusive offers.
Yes! PawLand is a family-friendly festival and children are welcome. However, children should always be supervised, particularly when interacting with unfamiliar animals.
Of course! You don't need to be a pet parent to enjoy PawLand. Come meet adorable animals, discover pet brands, enjoy the activities, learn about adoption and spend the day celebrating animals.
Tickets can be purchased through the PawLand website. We recommend booking in advance as certain ticket categories, experiences and activities may have limited availability.
If on-ground ticket sales are available for a particular PawLand edition, they will be announced closer to the event. We recommend purchasing online in advance to avoid the risk of tickets selling out.
Ticket cancellation, refund and transfer policies may vary by edition and ticket type. Please check the terms and conditions shown at the time of booking before purchasing your ticket.
No. A digital ticket or booking confirmation on your phone should be sufficient for entry. Please keep your booking confirmation readily accessible at the registration desk.
PawLand is planned with weather contingencies in mind. Covered areas and appropriate arrangements will be provided wherever possible. Any major changes to the event due to extreme weather will be communicated to registered attendees through the contact details provided during booking.
To keep PawLand safe and enjoyable for everyone:
  • Keep your pet leashed or securely contained
  • Carry updated vaccination and deworming records
  • Do not bring pets that are unwell or showing signs of contagious illness
  • Clean up after your pet
  • Respect other pets and their personal space
  • Do not force your pet into interactions or activities they are uncomfortable with
  • Follow instructions from the PawLand and veterinary teams
Please approach the Barket Cares Hub or speak to any PawLand team member immediately. Our on-site veterinary and first-aid team will be available to assist with pet-related concerns.
The activity schedule will be shared on the PawLand event page and through Barket's official communication channels closer to the event. Some activities may have specific timings, registrations or limited capacity, so we recommend checking the schedule before arriving.
Re-entry will depend on the ticket type and event-day access policy for that particular edition. Please check the instructions provided with your ticket or speak to the registration team at the venue.
PawLand offers brands an opportunity to connect directly with a passionate community of pet parents and animal lovers through stalls, experiences, sponsorships and other partnerships.
