“A Day with Barket’ presents an exclusive yoga session with adorable Indie pups followed by a volunteer feeding drive with our team to feed food and water to our stray animals. The intention behind this is to spread awareness amongst people to come forward and be more empathetic towards our community animals. We arrange food and water out of the proceeds from every session.
The therapeutic aspects of yoga merge seamlessly with the joy of being surrounded by adorable puppies. It’s a unique opportunity to unwind and strengthen your bond with your furry companion. Led by experienced instructors, our one-hour classes cater to all skill levels, guiding you through poses and relaxation techniques while allowing plenty of time for interaction with our friendly, house-trained puppies. Come join us for a playful and refreshing yoga experience alongside your furry friend at Puppy Yoga Barket.”
Barket puppy yoga classes welcome beginners and provide instruction suitable for all levels, including those who are completely new to yoga. In our classes, instructors often offer modifications and variations to accommodate different skill levels and abilities.
Every Saturday, tickets for the upcoming weekend become available. We intentionally limit ticket releases to one week in advance, ensuring fair access for all attendees. To stay updated, please visit our website on Saturdays to learn the specific release times, as they may vary to accommodate different work schedules.
You can book as many tickets as you want for your friends and family till the ticket count shows out of stock. Please note if the ticket section is not allowing you to add more people this simply means there is no space remaining in that session. If there is 1 ticket available, please do not book if you wish to book in pairs or as a group as we may not be able to fit in additional people.
At Puppy Yoga Barket’s session, immerse yourself in yoga amidst a lively atmosphere with adorable puppies. Our certified instructors will guide you through a 40-minute gentle yoga flow, followed by 20 minutes of puppy playtime filled with cuddles and fun interactions. We aim to offer a unique and enjoyable yoga experience that benefits both your body and mind. Rest assured, the puppies are closely supervised during the class, and we take all necessary precautions to ensure their safety and well-being.
If you are unable to attend your session or encounter a sudden emergency, you have the option to transfer your ticket to a family member or friend. Please reach out to the contact number provided in your event confirmation email on the day of the session only or send us an email on bark@barket.in
Ours is an Indie-only event to support NGOs and shelter homes while finding loving families and homes through these sessions. You might see some other breeds occasionally in case they are abandoned by their previous families and are up for adoption. Please note Barket is in no way a platform to buy, sell or rent any animals. All adoptions are free of cost and Barket doesn’t charge anything.
Currently, we are having sessions in Delhi-NCR but soon we’ll be in your city as well. Do reach out to us through instagram or email us at bark@barket.in if you want us to come to your city.
Kids of all age can be part of our event and ticket is mandatory for every adult/kid who wants to be there at the event.
On The Day
Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate furry companions at our sessions, even if they are vaccinated, as this policy is in place for health and safety reasons.
The majority of our venues have limited changing facilities available on-site. While there is usually one bathroom for changing if needed, please bear in mind that our sessions start punctually. We advise arriving prepared for your Puppy Yoga session. For private groups, please discuss with your booking manager whether your group will require changing facilities before or after the class.
No, we provide all yoga mats, and they are thoroughly cleaned after each session. While you’re welcome to bring your own mat, we can’t guarantee it won’t become a chew toy for one of our playful pups!
Although each litter varies, our goal is to maintain a ratio of at least 1 puppy for every 3 participants in our puppy yoga sessions. As we conduct weekly health checks with the NGOs, shelter homes and foster parents , adjustments may occur, but we’ll strive to keep attendees informed to the best of our ability.
Not at all! All our classes are suitable for beginners and remember, participation is entirely optional!
Puppy Safety
Our puppies come from people, NGOs and Shelter homes looking for loving homes to get the pups adopted.
All the puppies that join us have received their initial vaccination. Since some puppies may not have completed their second vaccination until after they are adopted into new homes, we prioritize thorough sanitation of the studio. Before the puppies enter the space, the floor is mopped with a bleach solution at a ratio of 32:1. All toys are washed at a high temperature of 90°C after each session to eliminate any potential contaminants. To minimize the risk of disease transmission and parasites, we require all participants to remove their shoes before entering the studio. This precaution is especially important for preventing toxocariasis, an infection caused by small worms found in the feces of certain animals such as dogs, cats, and foxes. Therefore, we kindly ask for your cooperation in removing your shoes upon entry. Additionally, we spray all yoga mats with Parvo-Virucide, a disinfectant/cleaner endorsed by The Central Vet Laboratory, to effectively eliminate germs.
All the puppies that come for the session are mostly from NGOs, shelter homes, or people who are looking for loving homes and families for the puppies. Our classes essentially serve as puppy daycare, providing them with opportunities to interact with new people in diverse settings. This helps minimize separation anxiety when they eventually transition to their new homes. Following each socialization session, the puppies return to their mother, gradually becoming more comfortable with brief separations from her each week. They spend only a few weeks with us during this crucial socialization period. Afterward, they will be ready to embark on their new lives with their new families, possessing greater confidence than when they first arrived.
Yes, our team is trained in first aid as well as handling puppies providing them the most enjoyable experience to both the people coming for classes and our pups as well.
Puppy Yoga Barket doesn’t buy, sell, rent, or re-home any of the puppies. Our job is simply to find loving families and people for our pups and get them in touch with foster parents, NGOs, or the Shelter home where the puppy currently stays. We provide an environment where they can socialize and have the best time.
Adoption
All our pups attending the event would be up for adoption. The whole purpose of hosting these events is so we can get our Indie pups adopted.
Not at all! Barket doesn’t charge anything for adoption of puppies or kittens. We are merely a platform where potential pet parents get to meet beautiful Indie pets up for adoption.
Barket is not involved in the adoption formalities. People, NGOs, and shelter homes who come forward to get the Indie babies adopted take care of these formalities.
If we are not able to find a family to adopt our Indie babies, then they would be up for fostering homes in some cases. Please note, priority would always be given to people coming forward to adopt over fostering.
